Wowee! I came home after a few days in Boston and the garden exploded! Mike says all he did was water, but everything literally doubled-tripled in size. He's been using the cooler as a resevoir and also gathered firewood for our firepit.
Peas are growing up their trellis and strawberries have already formed. You can compare the beets shot to the photo in the previous garden post to see two weeks' growth. I've started harvesting spinach and finished seeding this week with: lupine, more sunflowers, cantaloupe, more cucumbers, zucchini, and pumpkins.
This chamomile is coming in like a carpet! Can't wait to harvest and dry these flowers.
Things are looking up in this little corner of the city!
