I worked as an intern at Trees Atlanta for six months between 2017-2018. Trees Atlanta has been planting trees in and around Atlanta for 33 years. Their mission is: "Dedicated to protecting Atlanta’s urban forest through planting, conservation, and education". Trees Atlanta hosts reforestation projects, weekly horticultural volunteer opportunities, and a robust education program including lectures, BeltLine tours, and kids camps. I did a suite of marketing assignments (website updates, social media, newsletter writing, photography, and the graphic design seen below) as well as silent auction management for the 2018 Root Ball fundraiser and gala.
These posts are examples of some of the advertising I've made for social media. I'm always scheming the best way to convey information while keeping the posts engaging and attractive!
Occasionally I took it upon myself or am asked to create a logo for an event or series of events. My bosses requested a logo that invoked the new moon in May.
My print work included a postcard to advertise our summer camps and the Root Ball invitation series. Below, please find several photos I took during my term at Trees Atlanta.
