Medieval Valentine DIY Victorian puzzle purse card

Sale Price:$6.00 Original Price:$8.00

Delight your loved ones with this puzzle purse I have illustrated with medieval-inspired roses, lettering, and marginalia! Simply download and print this digital file, cut out the square, and fold according to the instructions. The center area is blank for you to write a message, as is one side of the outside. The "Victorian" puzzle purse became popular in the US and UK as early as the late 1700's; these unique cards allowed people to express affection, hide secret meanings in the design, and include small tokens inside the folds.

Included in this digital file purchase: a 2 page PDF to be printed double sided. This includes illustrated instructions for folding. The file includes crop marks because I found that otherwise that printers automatically cut off the edges of the design. The pinwheel fold can be tricky, so feel free to message me if you have questions!

I made a how-to instructional video: https://youtu.be/4RW3ptD039g

I also drew and designed a companion folded fortune teller (aka cootie catcher), which you can find and purchase here:

This design is meant for personal use only, please no reselling. Print as many as you like to share! <3
